More details of the 2010 events will be displayed closer to
the time.
Below were the events for 2009 to give you an indication of
what 2010 has to offer.
MEGUIAR'S
CLASSIC CAR FUN RUN
Organised by the MG Car Club, this event is one of the biggest
classic car driving events on the calendar. So why don’t you
make the New Zealand Classic Car Fun Run on Saturday 7th February
the premier event of 2009 for all the members of your club?
After all, we are doing the organising, all you have got to
do is get your entries in; then come!
Entry forms are required for each car entering so go to the
“entry forms” page, download and send.
Easy!
The limitations of the destinations mean that numbers are limited
for each run and they will be processed on a strictly first
come / first served basis.

NEW
ZEALAND CLASSIC CAR TEAMS AND MASTER CLASS EVENTS
The Team event is open to clubs that wish to enter teams of
two cars.
The Masters Class is open to individual cars. Both are serious
Concours competitions and to win, the cars will need to be prepared
to the highest standard. The team of judges checks all aspects
of preparation and presentation to the finest detail. The rules
and competition brief are detailed on further web pages: make
sure you read & understand them.
The team event goes back to 1972. The Master Class was introduced
in 1987. Both are highly regarded in the world of classic cars.
By entering, you will become a part of that tradition.
PERSONALISED
PLATES CLASSIC MOTORKHANA
Organised by the MG Car Club.
This is the action event of the show that attracts big crowds
– and not to be missed!! Dozens of classics are put through
their paces, drivers’ showing skills that would put boy racers
and their burnouts to shame with reverse flicks, hand brake
turns and more.
Teams compete over two identical courses and simultaneous runs,
the winning team being the first to finish. This is a competitive
but also fun event. And it’s a stark contrast to the static
displays. And the winner receives a Personalised Plate!
