MEGUIAR'S
CLASSIC CAR FUN RUN
Saturday 11 February 2012
Organised by the MG Car Club, this "open to all" event
is one of the biggest classic driving events on the calendar!
And in 2012 it's a totally new format - no longer leaving from
Ellerslie Race Course, but from a host of other places in the region
and navigating our way to Vellenoweth Green in St Heliers.

PERSONALISED PLATES CLASSIC MOTORKHANA
Sunday 12 February 2012
Organised by the MG Car Club.
This is the action event of the show that attracts big crowds –
and not to be missed!! Dozens of classics are put through their
paces, drivers’ showing skills that would put boy racers and their
burnouts to shame with reverse flicks, hand brake turns and more.
Teams compete over two identical courses and simultaneous runs,
the winning team being the first to finish. This is a competitive
but also fun event. And it’s a stark contrast to the static displays.
Motorkhana organiser: Andrew Walbran, email: mgmad@clear.net.nz,
phone: 09) 550 5446.

NZ CLASSIC
CAR CONCOURS TEAMS AND MASTER CLASS EVENTS
The Team event is open to clubs that wish to enter teams of two
cars.
The Masters Class is open to individual cars. Both are serious Concours
competitions and to win, the cars will need to be prepared to the
highest standard. The team of judges checks all aspects of preparation
and presentation to the finest detail. The rules and competition
brief are detailed on further web pages: make sure you read &
understand them.
The team event goes back to 1972. The Master Class was introduced
in 1987. Both are highly regarded in the world of classic cars.
By entering, you will become a part of that tradition.

marques regard as their "Kings" (or "Queens"
for that matter).
